Heart of a Bird

Constance Thalken

“Heart of a Bird explores the entangled, often messy relationship between humans and the natural world. Developed over five years, this project led me through remote landscapes and the coastal marshlands of the Southeast. Traveling in a VW camper van allowed me to immerse myself in environments where the human presence is subordinate to the powers of nature.”
